		<description>funny -- my take on wolf&#039;s argument wasn&#039;t that he personally viewed these changes as a good thing, but rather that he was more ambivalent about them that is politic for a champion of globalization (see his book) writing for a newspaper that in many ways is a leading proponent of anglo-financial-globalization of the world, or at least a newspaper than has profited from that shift, should be ... &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;so what was striking to me is that Wolf ended on a note of ambivalence rather than endorsement, which struck me as less than a full endorsement.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;or put differently, it seems he succeeded at being right down the middle, since we both are guessing where he really stands ...&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;bsetser</description>
