Hallelujah! I have been saying this for two year, pointing out that if China decided to destroy US economically, they could do so whenever they choose (or at least threaten to do so) - and, while it would probably hurt them too, because of the lower base they would come out better shaped than US (or most of the western world, for the matter).
Of course, it might be that Chines were smart enough to realize we will happily destroy ourselves if we think we're (at that time) being paid enough...
