Announcing a New Double-Your-Donations Challenge!

An anonymous donor has stepped up to issue a new challenge for our fundraiser and will match the next 20 donations of $100. Make this generous offer a speedy success by going to our donation page now!

And we hope you share the sentiments of readers who have participated in our fundraiser. From June Z:

This is a special donation, based on an unexpected bequest from a dear friend. I can’t think of a better way of using it than to give it to those organizations I admire, as I do Naked Capitalism, and which are doing the work without which we would be ignorant. NC is a daily necessity, and a grand antidote to the MSM, as well as connecting me with a wide community that shares my concerns.

And Charles:

Been reading since just before the 2007 crash, maybe mid-2007. Appreciate the community and the oasis of sanity. Thank God there are people willing to speak honestly and clearly.

And Lynn H:

I have been a long-standing reader of Naked Capitalism…it’s the first thing in my day! Thanks for all that you, Lambert, and others are doing. It’s such important work!

You can make your contribution here, via check, debit or credit card, or PayPal. If you give by check, be sure to let us know by e-mailing us at yves@nakedcapitalism.com with “Double Your Donation” in the subject line.

I hope you appreciate our anonymous donor’s generosity and that readers will respond in kind. And if $100 is a stretch for you, don’t let that stop you from making a donation if you’ve been planning to but haven’t had time yet. Every contribution helps us meet our goals. So I hope you’ll take him up on this fundraiser challenge in whatever way you can!

Thanks very much to the funder who is matching donations, as well as to everyone who gives — time, energy, links, money, observations and comments that elucidate my own knowledge — as well as photos of plants ;-)

NC is my home page, and my first read (some days, my only read!) of the day.

Hats off to Anonymous Matching Donor! I am a poor man by the reckoning of the world. Even for me though, a hunskie is a small price to pay for an information source that helps me keep my wits. May the readership here take you for all you’ve got.
    Cheers.
