Announcing the 2022 Sarah Henry “Double Your Donations” Challenge

We’re excited to announce another “Double Your Donations” challenge. Loyal donor and cat-lover Sarah Henry has stepped up again to issue another super-sized challenge, as she has for our annual fundraisers since 2017. She will match the next 30 donations of $100 and the next 40 of $50.

So if you’ve been too busy to go to our donations page or send a check, you have a new opportunity to amp up your contribution. Make her magnanimous offer a rousing success by going to the Tip Jar now!

Readers have been sending humbling messages of support:

From Chris K:

You and the other “wonder kids” who put together your web site are nothing short of miraculous. I continue to be in awe of your collective mental horsepower, commitment to the truth, and most of all, your generosity of heart.

You share your talents, and almost all of your time, with the rest of us merely hoping we will pitch in sufficiently at fundraiser time to help you continue for another year. Please know you are making a difference and are much appreciated. Thank you.

From Mary H:

Thank you and the team who do so much for an irreplaceable blog.

I have to agree with Michael Hudson – TINA to NC. Where else could one get the best medical information on Covid from the brain trust, not to mention the war in Ukraine and so many other topics that the MSM doesn’t even bother to cover or outright lies about..

THANK YOU

And Glenn F:

Thank you and the crew for the great work you’re doing bringing the real news to anyone interested in hearing it.

Please make your contribution here, via check, debit or credit card, or PayPal. If you give by check (we like checks! no processor fees!), be sure to let us know by e-mailing us at yves@nakedcapitalism.com with “Sarah Henry Challenge” in the subject line.

Thanks to Sarah for her generosity, and I hope readers will respond in kind.

And if $50 or $100 is a stretch for you, don’t let that stop you from making a donation if you’ve been planning to but haven’t had time yet. Every contribution helps us meet our goals.

And you can help now and all year by telling others about our work, whether in person to friends, family, and colleagues, or in social media like Facebook and Twitter. So I hope you’ll take Sarah up on her fundraiser challenge in whatever way you can!

I am usually late to this party.
I received the e-mail notification of this particular segment of the Pledge Drive in my ‘regular’ e-mail queue. However, it had a red banner box across the top saying that Yahoo Mail considered it spam but had allowed it through because NC was in my regular contacts list. Just something more to add to the Police State Files.
Be that as it may, I think I’ll go ahead and send a tenner your way. (I lucked out and stole some extra expensive hubcaps this past weekend!)

Hanging in here up in the hinterlands John. Hello from the family. (Good for you. Now you can buy the hill to stay above the sea level rise.) [I would say the hill in Demopolis, but we’ve been there, and there isn’t much ‘there’ there. Think Southern Gothic on a shoestring.]
        Stay safe!

Hope I made it in time, west coast denizen. Wish it could be more, this place has saved my “donkey” more than once, however Himself lost his job in June.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you can get a few ‘preps’ in before winter. As someone or other said, “American Prosperity is not evenly distributed.”
      Be safe.

I’ve made a small donation, as I’m currently unemployed and looking for work.

Money is tight for that reason and it looks like the job market is getting worse.
