Please know that without NC and all the outstanding work that you do, the internet would become significantly more pointless for me. Your original reporting, the work that you host and the comments (well, most of the comments at least) keep hope alive for me that maybe humanity is not doomed, long as the odds may be. If anyone ever asks me what I’m reading, the answer always includes Naked Capitalism and I think I’ve fostered some at least semi-regular readers over the years.

Finally got it done! With gratitude to you Yves, Lambert, Conor and the team. My donation feels like a mere pittance in comparison to the good you provide. Your hard work never ceases to amaze me. I am very grateful to have this site to turn to for information and news. When I read the MSM nowadays, it just seems filled with propaganda, PR and whoppers. Naked Capitalism is a window on the world as it really is and a great boost to the way I apprehend the world.
In all the years I’ve read you, I admit I’ve never brought anyone else into the fold but it ain’t for lack of trying. One almost exception – if my husband read the news, he’d read you. Instead he gleans vicariously via my habit.
I will forever remain puzzled by the people who refuse to open their eyes and really see the state of the world and this community of insightful, wise and funny commenters really does help me stay sane.

What surprises me is that NC appears to be such a hand-to-mouth operation. You don’t want a Bezos, but a couple of supportive kulaks should keep the site swimming along. Is none of the readership in that position?
