I never thought I’d quote Thomas Paine in my work, but today’s the day. These times try us indeed; we’re against it at last.
Let’s face it. The long-game billionaire plot against popular rule, the one that started in 1933, may soon be won. Indications are thick on the ground, from this:

I could go on, but why? We know where we are, in times that test our souls. What should we do?
Navigating These Times
It’s vital, now more than ever, that we stay informed, smart, and judicious in our opinions. Demagogues surround us, both on the left and the right; balanced views and non-ideologic takes are hard to find.

Because, despite the wreckage around us, few sound the alarm for the actual fire we’re in. Beset from the right as we are, to whom do we turn? No army of the people has emerged. And who’s telling you that? Almost no one.
Most news from regular sources is partisan at best, yet no one can navigate these times without all of the facts, partisan-blessed or not. Fraught as we are, these truly aren’t partisan times — both parties are deeply flawed in what they offer — and sites that aren’t partisan-funded and partisan-based are now our best friend. We need them to make sound decisions.
